The following Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the use of personal data that is provided in connection with the use of the 3D Assembly Instructions Shopify App.

The purpose of the Policy is to provide you with a sense of security. The following information is intended to show that your data will be processed in a fair and transparent manner, with caution and responsibility.

The following Privacy Policy is intended to inform you about how we use your personal data, for which we meet all the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 (hereinafter: "GDPR").

1. Personal data Administrator

2. Information We Collect

Store Information: When you install our App, we access certain information from your Shopify store, including your store name, store URL, store owner email address, and storelocale/timezone settings.
‍Product Information: Weaccess product data (titles, IDs, images) to enable you to assign 3D assembly manuals to specific products.
‍Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage metrics including viewer load counts, animation play counts, and feature usage statistics to improve the App.
‍Customer Data: Our App does NOT collect, store, or process any personal data from your customers. The 3Dviewer operates entirely on the client-side and does not transmit customer information to our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to provide and maintain the App functionality, communicate with you about updates, new features, or changes to the App, respond to your support requests, improve and optimize the App performance, andsend you important notices about your subscription or beta program status.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your 3D models and configuration data are stored securely on AWS CloudFront CDN with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. We retain your data for as long as you maintainthe App installation. Upon uninstallation, your data is deleted within 30 days.

5. Data Sharing

We do notsell, trade, or rent your information to third parties. We may share data only with service providers who assist in operating our App (such as AWS for hosting), when required by law or to respond to legal process, and to protectour rights, privacy, safety, or property.

6. Shopify Data Protection

We comply with Shopify's API Terms of Service and data protection requirements. We implement all required GDPR webhooks: Customer Data Request (customers/data_request), Customer Data Erasure (customers/redact), and Shop Data Erasure (shop/redact).

7. Cookies and Tracking

The DIY 3D Manuals App does not use cookies or third-party tracking technologies on your storefront. The embedded 3D viewer operates without storing any data in customers' browsers.

8. Children's Privacy

Our App is designed for business use and is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on our website and updating the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
